Renae’ Van Wagner grew up in the rainy state of Washington; happily working with children for many years. Life events led to sunny Arizona where she enjoys staying home raising both of her beautiful daughters with her husband, Chris. Renae’ volunteers at the elementary school where her children attend. She enjoys gardening, and diving into Midrash/ Torah discussions. Midrash gives her the opportunity to listen to everyone else’s insightful thoughts. NefeshSoul is her home away from home for Jewish study. She welcomes the personal and spiritual growth that comes from serving a congregation. Joyce Glass transferred to Phoenix from Massachusetts in 1977 while employed by Digital Equipment Corporation. She went on to work for Intel in the finance department. Joyce is the parent of two successful children, Louis and Jessica, and she is Donald Hoffman’s better half. When her children entered elementary school, she wanted to give back to her community and became a special education assistant. Joyce has been involved with Special Olympics and on the board of Best Buddies Arizona.

Julie Ivanhoe (violin) has played in ensembles and orchestras since childhood. Julie has a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education K-12 and a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy. Julie has taught orchestra in the Chandler Unified Schools for over 26 years. She has also taught private violin and viola lessons on and off for 21 years.
Kerry Vesper (flute, clarinet, saxophone) has been playing since his Tempe High School Band days in the 1960s. He currently plays in community college jazz bands, Latin bands and combo classes, a klezmer band and another Shabbat band.
